Job summary

Tensor is building advanced simulation tools for autonomous vehicles. The Simulation team focuses on developing behavior models, scalable engines, and test-science for safe, realistic vehicle simulations.

You will collaborate across frontend and backend engineers to deliver integrated simulation services and tools. We seek 3+ years in software development, with expertise in C++ and Python, plus strong architecture and ADS-simulation experience.

Qualifications

3+ years of software development experience (including internships).
2+ years designing architectures (patterns, reliability, scaling).
2+ years of simulation modeling development in ADS-related industry (behavior/traffic/kinematic).
Experience programming in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

Model, design and develop behavior simulation software with high realism for various traffic participants.
Design and develop a scalable, flexible simulation framework and engine.
Create metrics to evaluate and ensure simulation behavior matches real world.
Develop a UI, a module-definition language, and a data schema for test scenarios.
Develop virtual components to integrate with AI modules.
Collaborate with frontend, backend and modeling engineers to ensure services work together.
Work with simulation users to identify issues, define features and address bottlenecks.
