Job summary

South College is seeking a Simulation Center Coordinator to lead the simulation curriculum and oversee equipment and training operations. The role includes coordinating didactic and clinical activities with faculty and students on campus in Carmel, Indiana.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in a health-related field, clinical experience, and familiarity with high-fidelity simulation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a collaborative academic

Responsibilities

• Participates in development, implementation and evaluation of the simulation curriculum.
• Research vendors for supplies and equipment, obtain bids, and manage purchasing within delegated authority.
• Conducts tours of the facilities.
• Promotes revenue stream training services to local external healthcare and emergency response organizations.
• Supervises preventive maintenance and coordinates with vendors to minimize downtime.
• Provides BLS, ACLS, and PALS training to students and faculty.
• Evaluates and deploys simulation curriculum; assists in didactic activities.
