Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR.

Job Type

Per Diem / Variable Shift – On‑site

Responsibilities

Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patients, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive and non‑radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
