Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a per diem/variable shift. You will perform imaging studies, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure quality control under physician oversight.

Qualifications

• Certification, licensure, or registration as required.
• Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist eligibility at hire.
• Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary eligibility at hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association at hire.
• Within 6 months: NRT or NMC Certification Board credentials must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under physician direction.
• Prepares patient and administers prescribed radiopharmaceuticals and non-radioactive meds.
• Calibrates equipment and performs quality control.
• Monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.
