Qualifications

• Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology or Within 6 months: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under physician direction.
• Prepares patient and administers prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals; performs calculations and data manipulation.
• Calibrates equipment, ensures quality control, monitors patients, and performs other duties as assigned.
