Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator (Silicone) for the Weekend Nights shift in Middlesex, NC. The role runs overnight from 6 pm to 6:30 am, Friday through Sunday. The hourly rate is $24.04, with salary considered a guideline based on skills and experience.

The operator will run silicone processes, splice and clean hose, extrude, and pack finished products, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• The candidate will not require visa sponsorship for this position.
• No relocation benefits; within 50-mile radius of Middlesex, NC.
• Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Locate hose to be spliced/cleaned based on schedule.
• Operate crimper to splice hose together.
• Set up and operate ultrasonic cleaner and adhesion tank per setup sheets.
• Move reels of hose to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Set up, operate and monitor extrusion line and tooling as required.
• Clean up after a run and return tools if in good condition.
• Record process data and complete computer transactions as needed.
• Follow safety, lean and TPM practices in the department.
