Job summary

Momentive in Maryland is seeking a Compounding (Mixing) Operator to safely perform mixing and milling operations using mechanical equipment to prepare high‑consistency silicone rubber per customer specs, instructions, and safety requirements.

The role involves operating mixers, mills, and related equipment; following batch instructions; maintaining records; communicating production information; and ensuring a clean, safe work environment while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow batch cards, instructions, and formulas.
• Experience maintaining batch/production records and documentation.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple mixers and mills per instructions.
• Measure, weigh, load, mix, and process materials per customer specs.
• Maintain production records and communicate issues promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized; assist in shift transitions.
