Job summary

10,000 Degrees is seeking a seasoned Regional Development Director to expand the organization's philanthropic presence in Silicon Valley. You will cultivate major gifts, steward donors, and lead a regional fundraising plan aligned with the new five-year strategy and the upcoming $50 million campaign.

This role requires five+ years of fundraising experience, strong relationship skills, and willingness to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• At least five years of fundraising experience.
• Proven record of securing gifts, typically in the $10,000 to $50,000+ range.
• Bachelor's degree required; travel within the region may be needed.
• Experience with donor-advised funds and family foundations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate community, institutional, and individual relationships to meet fundraising goals.
• Manage a regional donor portfolio using moves management best practices.
• Collaborate on partnerships, grants, and a unified regional funding strategy.
• Lead regional donor events and advisory board activities.
• Develop a fundraising plan and targets with leadership and boards.
