Job summary

PwC is seeking an Intern in Silicon Valley (DAT) to support audit teams, learn PwC methodologies, and gain exposure to cloud engineering solutions that enhance audit processes. The role emphasizes learning, initiative, and producing quality work while observing professional standards within PwC's Assurance practice.

The position targets current students or recent graduates with a bachelor’s in Accounting, MIS, BI, CS, or IT, aiming for CPA eligibility or CISA licensure.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting and decision-making processes
• Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
• Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to enhance audit processes
• Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success and client support
• Applying a learning mindset to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
• Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
• Collaborating with team members to uphold ethical standards and promote responsible behavior within the organization

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA

Salary

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
