Job summary

Wipro Limited in Mountain View, California, is seeking a Hardware Test Execution Engineer (Silicon) for system-level testing. You will develop hardware validation plans, perform silicon-level tests, and collaborate across software, firmware, and validation teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering.
• 3–7 years in embedded systems, firmware or hardware validation.
• 3+ years in building, deploying, and maintaining robust test execution environments.
• Experience parsing large test logs and data manipulation.
• Experience with version control systems (git, Perforce) in team settings.
• Expert proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python).
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, SWD).
• Experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers).

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or hardware validation.
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining robust test execution environments.
• Proven experience in data parsing and manipulation of large, complex test logs.
• Experience working with version control systems (e.g. git, perforce) in a collaboration team environment.
• Expert proficiency in at least one key scripting language used in test and data analysis (e.g. python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and low-level interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, SWD).
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically within a semiconductor, silicon validation, or high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment.
• Direct experience with SLT hardware, software, or methodologies.
• Understanding of Statistical Analysis methods as applied to production yield data and quality control.
• Familiarity with high-end SLT test systems architecture.
• Knowledge of embedded software and hardware systems, Linux/Android environments.
• Experience with defect tracking, code and project management tools (e.g. git, JIRA).

Mandatory Skills: Silicon Validation.Experience: 3-5 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
