Job summary

LTIMindtree in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced silicon validation engineer to lead the bring-up, validation, and characterization of high-performance D2D and SERDES interfaces on next-generation CMOS chips. You will develop test methods, bench setups, and analyze results to drive design improvements, collaborating with design teams while documenting findings in comprehensive reports.

Requires a BS in EE or CE and at least 5 years of relevant experience with D2D/SERDES, signal integrity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with D2D and SERDES platforms.
• Knowledge of high-speed D2D and SERDES architectures (NRZ, PAM4) and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute silicon validation and characterization of CMOS D2D and SERDES interfaces.
• Bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed D2D/SERDES in new and existing silicon chips.
• Bench software and hardware integration bench setup.

Job description

Role Description

• The primary responsibility of this position entails executing the silicon validation and characterization of cutting edge high performance highspeed low power CMOS D2D and SERDES silicon interface following industry best practices
• Bring up validate and characterize highspeed D2D and SERDES in new and existing silicon chips
• Bench software and hardware integration bench setup
• Develop test methods to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins of highspeed serial interfaces across various conditions
• Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logic
• Analyse test results and document findings to provide insights and recommendations
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering computer engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience working with D2D and SERDES platforms
• Knowledge of highspeed D2D and SERDES architectures eg NRZ PAM4 and protocols
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analysers and BERTs
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Experience with SERDES calibration and understanding of signal integrity
• Familiarity with highspeed protocols like UCIe Ethernet and PCIe
• Ability to write comprehensive test reports and analyse boundary conditions

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
