Apple Inc. has an opening in San Diego, California for a Silicon Product Engineer. The role involves characterizing the parametric performance of High-Speed IO PHYs (SERDES), PLLs, Sensors, and other Custom HardIPs. You will develop ATE test programs for debugging, characterization, qualification, and production of SoC devices, focusing on HardIP tests. Responsibilities include defining characterization plans, analyzing data, coordinating across teams, and signing off on silicon characterization activities. You will evaluate IP testability, debug silicon issues with DFT and design teams, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions. The role requires collaboration with Design, Validation, Test Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams to support next-generation SoC productization. International travel (up to 10%) is required. The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,941 - $236,300 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
