Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5+ years experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years experience.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in IC layout.
• Familiarity with Cadence layout tools.
• Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
• Preferred experience with script-based layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement photonic integrated circuit (PIC) layouts.
• Develop and utilize a script-based layout tool.
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to meet specs and performance.
• Perform LVS and DRC checks on layouts.
• Contribute to development and improvement of layout methodologies.
