Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated Silicon Photonics Design Engineer to design silicon photonics solutions for advanced data communications and to establish methodologies, tools, and automation flows for PIC design. You will collaborate with system architecture, packaging, validation, and test engineering teams to ensure successful prototyping, development, and launch.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in electromagnetic design fundamentals.
• Experience designing silicon photonics PICs is preferred.
• Ability to translate system specs into circuit-level requirements.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop passive and active PIC components for high-speed datacom (>200Gbps) applications.
• Collaborate with systems and packaging teams to translate specs into layouts and simulations.
• Create DRC-clean layouts meeting performance and yield targets.
• Drive test methodologies and support product validation and ramp.
• Define process requirements for silicon photonics platforms and contribute to IP development.
• Present findings to stakeholders through technical documents and reviews.
