Job summary

PQ is a leading global provider of silicates and silica products. This role involves producing and packaging finished silica gel per customer specifications, monitoring and adjusting the process, performing lab tests, and documenting results.

You will handle packaging, forklift operations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Ideal candidates will be able to work in a 24/7 plant with 12-hour rotating shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and collaborate within a small team while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical abilities and skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience with lab testing equipment and laboratory safety.
• 2 years of manufacturing/warehousing experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the process through manual and/or automated control panel adjustments.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality product and output (physical and mathematical).
• Perform lab testing for in-process and finished products.
• Document test results, process parameters and adjustments, and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Perform packaging, filling, palletizing and warehousing of finished product.
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading trucks.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Perform housekeeping functions and environmental data gathering.
• Other duties as assigned.
