Born & Raised is hiring a part-time Silent Disco Inventory Specialist in Nashville, TN to keep equipment organized, clean, and event-ready.

Work is part-time with a 10:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule, pay is $17.50 per hour, and training is provided. There are optional opportunities to assist with live events and DJ support. This independent contractor role offers a calm environment and clear expectations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep gear ready for events: clean, organize, and charge headphones.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation and track inventory.
• Prepare and manage rental orders: pack and label kits and sometimes deliver.
• Communicate with clients: send reminders and assist with simple troubleshooting.
• Maintain workspace: keep area clean and create weekly restock list.
• Assist with optional event setup and DJ support; training provided.

Silent Disco Inventory Specialist - Nashville, TN

Silent Disco Knox is hiring a part‑time Inventory Specialist to help keep our equipment, rental kits, and headphones organized, clean, and event‑ready. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, staying organized, and working independently in a relaxed but purposeful environment.

For those who are interested, there are also optional opportunities to assist with and run live events, including playing music at silent discos. This is not required, but available if you would like to take on additional hours or learn the event side of the business.

What You Will Do

• Keep our gear ready for events
  • Clean, organize, and charge silent disco headphones
  • Test equipment to ensure everything is working properly
  • Track inventory and flag damaged or missing items
• Prepare and manage rental orders
  • Pack and label rental kits for upcoming events
  • Occasionally deliver orders. (Mileage reimbursement available when using your own vehicle)
• Communicate with clients
  • Send reminders about upcoming rentals and returns
  • Assist with simple troubleshooting during rental periods
• Maintain the workspace
  • Keep the warehouse or work area clean and organized
  • Create a weekly list of items that need restocking
  • Assist with basic equipment upkeep and organization
• Optional Event and DJ Support
  • Assist with setup and breakdown at silent disco events
  • Play music or help run a channel at events. Training provided
  • Opportunity to earn additional hours during evenings or weekends

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable, organized, and detail oriented
• Comfortable working independently once trained
• Clear communicator with a positive, professional attitude
• Able to lift and move equipment totes weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally, using carts or dollies as standard equipment.
• Basic comfort with technology such as charging devices and simple Bluetooth style troubleshooting
• Interest in music or events is a plus but not required
• No prior experience required. We will train you
