Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Line Cook to contribute to our Signature Dining Programs through à la minute cooking and chef-inspired dishes for residents. You will consistently prepare meals, ensure correct portions, temperatures, and plating while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

We offer weekend availability with no late hours, paid bi-weekly compensation starting at $22 per hour, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision for eligible team

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle hot/cold environments.
• Maintain safe food handling and kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and menu items following safety and cooking techniques.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation.
• Use culinary skills to create high-quality dishes for resident satisfaction.
• Keep kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized.
