Job summary

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Signals Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience and a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and enhancing signal processing software for detectors, demodulators, and protocol processing at Fort Meade, MD.

The candidate will collaborate with teams, review and test components, and provide input on system design trade-offs. Onsite work with day shifts and no travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience as SSWE or equivalent on RF-focused project.
• Experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, and digital signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop and maintain software framework for efficient data processing.
• Lead software development teams and coordinate with system engineers.
