Job summary

Sunayu, LLC seeks a Signals Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, and maintain RF signal processing software in a secure environment. You will analyze requirements, code, debug, test, and document components while collaborating with system and software engineers to meet performance goals.

The role demands expertise in C++, Java, Linux, and DSP concepts, with leadership responsibilities and adherence to development processes. Clearance TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• At least seven years' experience as a SSWE or equivalent on RF-focused projects.
• Four years of additional SSWE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Describe signal processing techniques and digital modulation methods.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop and implement algorithms to meet system performance and standards.
• Lead software development teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Write and review software and system documentation.
• Confer with engineers to derive requirements and constraints.
