Job summary

Strategic Factory is seeking a Production Director to lead all signage manufacturing operations—from fabrication and wide-format printing to finishing, assembly, and installation. You will own financial performance, drive throughput, and manage costs to meet customer commitments.

In this high-accountability role, you will build a high-performing team, establish clear accountability, optimize workflows, and scale production as the company grows, delivering quality and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in sign manufacturing or related production environments.
• At least 5 years in production leadership across multiple functions.
• Experience with sign fabrication, wide-format printing, and finishing.
• Proven ability to manage job costs, labor, materials, and profitability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/MIS systems and production metrics.
• Relevant degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own departmental financial performance including revenue and gross margin.
• Lead daily production operations from fabrication to installation.
• Develop a high-performing team and establish clear accountability.
• Ensure on-time completion and alignment with forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Installation.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost controls to grow profitability.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while scaling production.
