Job summary

Allen Industries Inc. in Mount Airy, NC, is seeking a reliable Metal Fabricator to construct structures and sign cabinets from aluminum and other materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, welding and assembling components, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and a benefits package including dental, vision, 401(k) with match, generous vacation, and

Qualifications

• Experience welding metal or aluminum preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings.
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Construct structures and sign cabinets from aluminum, steel or other materials.
• Build various sign types (channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs).
• Cut, bend, turn, mill and drill per work orders.
• Operate metal fabricating machines (shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, punches).
• Weld, rivet or bolt components together (primarily aluminum).
• Interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
