Job summary

Allen Industries Inc. is seeking a Metal Fabricator in Clearwater, FL. You will construct sign structures and cabinets from aluminum, steel, or other materials, reading blueprints and shop drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.

You'll operate a range of fabricating machines, welders and power tools while maintaining safety standards. The role involves lifting up to 70 lbs (team lift up to 100 lbs) and may require forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Experience welding metal or aluminum preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings
• Ability to use or learn to use fabricating machines and hand tools
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Construct structures and sign cabinets from aluminum, steel or other materials per customer specs, shop drawings and blueprints
• Build sign types including channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs etc
• Use equipment to cut, bend, turn, mill and drill to specified lengths/widths
• Operate metal fabricating machines (shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, punches)
• Weld, rivet or bolt components together (primarily aluminum)
• Operate routers, welders, saws, air drills and power tools
• Interpret blueprint and sketches
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures

You'll help bring sign designs to life through fabrication, assembly, welding, wiring, and quality craftsmanship.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to construct structures and sign cabinets from raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Construction of structures and sign cabinets out of aluminum, steel or other materials to create individual custom signage according to customer specifications, shop drawings and blueprints
• Build various sign types, including channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs, etc
• Use various equipment to cut, bend, turn, mill and drill to specified lengths and widths per work order.
• Operate metal fabricating machines (shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses)
• Weld, rivet or bolt components together (primarily aluminum)
• Operates machinery and equipment, including routers, welders, saws, air drills and power tools
• Interpret blueprint and sketches
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

What We're Looking For
