Job summary

ELLET SIGN COMPANY is seeking a qualified metal sign fabricator with 2 to 5 years of experience to work on custom commercial signs such as monument signs, wayfinding, post/panel etc. May also require assembling.

The role involves fabricating aluminum/steel frames, cabinets, posts and sign components, operating a CNC router, shears and brake, and performing welding, grinding and assembly while following shop drawings and installation considerations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in metal fabrication or sign making.
• Ability to read shop drawings and fabricate from them.
• Experience with welding, cutting, grinding and assembling components.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aluminum and steel frames, cabinets, posts, and sign components.
• Operate shears, brake and CNC router; perform related hand tool work.
• Weld, cut, grind, drill, form and assemble components.
• Assist other fabricators and maintain clean work area.
• Follow shop drawings and installation considerations during fabrication.

ELLET SIGN COMPANY is seeking a qualified metal sign fabricator with 2 to 5 years of experience to work on custom commercial signs such as monument signs, wayfinding, post/panel etc. May also require assembling.

You must:

• Fabricate aluminum, steel frames, cabinets, posts, structural and support components
• Operate shears, brake, CNC router and other miscellaneous hand tools
• Weld, cut, grind, drill, form and assembly components
• Assist other fabricators as required
• Work from shop drawings
• Build illuminated and non-illuminated sign systems
• Consider installation requirements during fabrication for any potential field issues
• Keep work area clean
• Follow supervisor instructions
• Perform other duties as required or instructed
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 50-85 pounds

This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
