Job summary

Hardman Signs is seeking a skilled Masonry Installer to construct durable, code-compliant foundations, pedestals, and anchoring systems for architectural signage projects in Houston. You will work with Lead Installers and fabrication staff to ensure strong, reliable installations.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of professional masonry experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean record.
Experience with anchoring systems and signage foundations preferred.
OSHA 30-Hour certification and ACI concrete finishing certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

Construct and finish masonry foundations and pedestals for monument and pylon signs.
Anchor signage to brick, concrete block, stone, and precast substrates using structural anchors.
Perform drilling, coring, and masonry cutting with silica dust control per OSHA standards.
Collaborate with Lead Installers and project teams to align masonry work with schedules.
Conduct site evaluations for soil, drainage, and conditions; document progress photos.
Champion jobsite safety and maintain zero-incident standard with proper PPE.
Maintain tools and equipment and support junior team members on techniques.
