FastSigns NYU is seeking a Customer Service professional with graphic design experience to act as the first point of contact and produce production-ready signage graphics onsite in New York.

The role combines customer service with hands-on design and production tasks, requiring proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Onsite, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, graphic design, or sign industry experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Consult with customers to understand signage and visual communication needs.
• Prepare estimates, quotes, and work orders.
• Build lasting customer relationships through consistent, exceptional service.
• Coordinate projects from initial inquiry through final delivery.
• Attend daily team meetings and contribute to business and marketing initiatives.
• Create and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Prepare production-ready files for printing, cutting, and fabrication.
• Review customer-provided artwork and ensure files meet production requirements.
• Create layouts, proofs, illustrations, and signage based on customer specifications.
• Communicate with production staff to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect artwork and production files for quality before output.
