Job summary

Royston Group in Bell Gardens, CA seeks a CAD Technician to support the design, development, and production of products from concept through manufacturing. This role produces accurate technical drawings, ensures compliance with codes and standards, and supports timely project delivery.

The CAD Technician collaboration includes creating detailed drawings, drafting for signage projects, and assisting with product testing, documentation, and engineering initiatives as directed by the Director of

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in drafting or engineering tech.
At least 1 year of manual drafting experience.
2–5 years CAD experience with listed software.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and structural design.
Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate fabrication of product prototypes for design accuracy.
Establish and maintain customer specification files and prototype requirements.
Develop structural designs and concrete footing details; provide stamped drawings when required.
Prepare weekly status reports on projects and production progress.
Create, update, and distribute engineering drawings; generate BOMs and ECNs.
