Job summary

Eastern Sign Tech, LLC. is seeking a skilled designer to create conceptual and construction/shop drawings based on layout principles and design concepts, and to generate new artwork for signage.

The role includes reviewing requests from Project Management, reading construction drawings, and producing router/print files for production. The ideal candidate will have Adobe Illustrator, Corel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks proficiency, a relevant degree or certification, strong knowledge of sign industry

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Corel, AutoCad, Solidworks.
• Degree or Certification in Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Thorough understanding of Sign Industry terms.
• Advanced knowledge of various materials and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Use computer software to create conceptual and construction / shop drawings based on knowledge of layout principles and design concepts.
• Review work requests from Project Management.
• Generate new artwork as required for signage.
• Review design intent and suggest improvements as needed.
• Create router and print files for production.
• Produce accurate and high quality work.
• Ability to read construction drawings and provide take-offs.
