Job summary

Strategic Factory is seeking a Structural Designer to produce fabrication drawings for exterior and interior signage from design intent drawings. You will generate CAD layouts, prepare production files, and coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements include 5+ years in signage, proficiency with Sketchup (AutoCAD helpful), and experience with Omega Composer, FlexiSign, and Adobe Creative Suite. MD-based firm with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in fabricated/architectural signage space.
• Proficient with Sketchup preferred; AutoCAD experience acceptable.
• Experience with Omega Composer, FlexiSign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understand electrical lighting for illuminated signs.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings and layouts from design intent.
• Create production-ready files for fabrication and installation teams.
• Coordinate pre-production and production methods to meet deadlines.
• Support permitting and sign-off processes with internal teams.
