Job summary

Standard Sales Company, L.P. is seeking a Sign Shop Technician to create print materials, event graphics, and retail package signage in line with brand guidelines. You will design banners, POS materials, and present designs to colleagues and vendors, coordinating multiple projects from start to finish.

The role requires strong design sense, familiarity with Corel Draw and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with some nights and weekends as needed.

JOB TITLE: Sign Shop Technician

SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating print materials, event graphics, presentation materials and retail package signage. Individual should possess a strong sense of design and creativity while adhering to strict brand guidelines.

JOB DUTIES:

• Verify compliance with distribution agreements ensuring all brewer and supplier standards are continually met
• Work closely with sales team and discuss their needs
• Design and create a wide variety of graphic art and promotional material
• Good understanding of software and printers to design banners and other point of sale
• Produce designs for both internal and external communications
• Professionally communicate, negotiate and present sales related materials and ideas
• Explain design concepts and ideas to colleagues and vendors
• Coordinate multiple projects from start to finish
• Provide graphical support for Blogs, websites and social media
• Proficient knowledge of Web, social media and Video applications
• Work on presentations, marketing materials and banner designs
• Have an understanding of colors, styles, illustrations, photography and animation
• Good understanding of latest digital marketing
• Maintain inventory and keep an accurate budget for signage, supplies and equipment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays
• Attend sales department and company meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be detail-oriented with great organizational skills
• Must be knowledgeable with Corel Draw and Adobe software
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to completion
• Must be able to come up with creative solutions in a limited timeframe
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• 1-year prior experience in related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:

• Bachelors Degree
• Excellent design and layout skills and an artistic vision
• Knowledge of standard design formats, file types and image sizing
• Self-sufficient and motivated to work autonomously

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to move products weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to hang merchandise and POS as needed
• Ability to continuously sit, stand or walk
• Ability to bend and occasionally squat
