Job summary

FASTSIGNS of West Metro, MN is seeking a Production Specialist to handle all aspects of sign production, from substrate prep to vinyl application, ensuring accuracy and quality.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You may be asked to mount prints, proofread signs, and perform quality checks to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow layout to apply vinyl on substrate.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application incl. cutting and laminating.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer cut images.
• Perform quality assurance pre- and post-production.
• Finish pieces by laminating, encapsulating, or mounting.
• Report inventory levels and reorders to center/production manager.
• Help unload materials and maintain storage areas.
• Multi-task across projects simultaneously.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with support departments.
• Backup for graphic designer when needed.
