Job summary

FASTSIGNS #112301 is hiring a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team. You will follow layouts to apply vinyl and graphics, prepare substrates, and operate production printers.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of sign production experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training and development opportunities are provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods (4+ hours)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver high-volume, high-quality work
• Experience with handling vinyl application and graphic prep a plus
• Familiarity with sign production processes and equipment a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow layouts to place vinyl or full-color graphics on substrates
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning
• Weed excess vinyl from cuts and manage various sizes and types of vinyl
• Operate and maintain printer(s) used in production
• Perform quality checks by reading Work Orders and proofing for errors
• Finish pieces by laminating and mounting as needed
• Monitor inventory and report stock needs to center manager/production manager or franchisee
• Maintain clean storage areas and assist with general site housekeeping
• Knowledge of bucket truck operation is a plus
