Job summary

FASTSIGNS #160901 is seeking a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. The role involves following layouts to apply vinyl and graphics, prepping substrates, weeding and finishing, and operating printers with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in sign production, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods. Training opportunities and performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to use vinyl/graphic prep and finishing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or full-color graphics on substrates.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; apply to substrates.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality assurance pre- and post-production by reading Work Orders and proofing for errors.
• Finish pieces by laminating and/or mounting as needed.
• Report inventory levels and stock needs to the center/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
