The role involves working in a sign-production shop and at installation sites, handling brushes, spray guns, and stencils, while ensuring quality and safety standards. Qualifications

• Hands-on painting experience with control of finish and consistency.
• Ability to prepare, paint, repair and maintain signs to project specs.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious when handling paints and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking as needed.
• Review project specifications to determine painting techniques, colors, materials, and finishes.
• Apply lettering, graphics, and designs using brushes, spray guns, stencils, and other painting equipment.
• Ensure signs are completed accurately and meet established quality standards.
• Select and apply suitable paints and coatings based on sign material and intended use.
• Assist with sign installation at designated locations as needed.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and touch-ups on existing signs.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and an organized work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects accurately and on schedule.
