Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program; high school diploma or equivalent.

• Training and licensure requirements: ARRT registry or registry eligible; achieved registry within 6 months of hire.
• Experience acceptable as determined for the position.
• Proficiency in radiographic procedures; understanding of basic anatomy; ability to handle stress and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment including mobile units; position patients and adjust exposure factors.
• Evaluate radiographs and ensure appropriate image quality.
• Maintain radiology equipment and computer systems; adhere to safety guidelines.
