Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join the Ottumwa Regional Health Center team in a full-time capacity. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to patient care and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include assessments, developing treatment plans, direct patient care, patient education, and collaboration with rehab teams to improve mobility and function in our community.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Experience: Previous rehab setting preferred.
• License: Current PT license.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provides direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Documents treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.
• Collaborates with rehab teams and participates in discharge planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
