Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL, is hiring an entry-level Ultrasound Tech to join our Cardiovascular Labs. The role offers career progression with training in diagnostic sonography and support for ongoing credentialing.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus under certain conditions. The position requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited sonography program, plus BLS certification and appropriate registry credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and graduation from an accredited sonography program.
• One year of relevant sonography experience preferred.
• BLS certification and one of several RDCS/RCS/RSVS credentials may be required depending on the department.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to image tissues and organs.
• Perform adult and pediatric ultrasound examinations in various modes.
• Schedule and coordinate tests; maintain patient records.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.
