Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited sonography program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Credentials must be applicable to the department's work.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to examine tissue and body structures.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic sonographic examinations on adult and pediatric patients.
• Schedule tests and coordinate patient flow.
• Update patient records and document test results.
• Ensure patient safety during ultrasound procedures.
