Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a skilled electrical technician to operate and maintain plant equipment at our Corteva site in Illinois. You will perform repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections, while upholding safety procedures and environmental regulations.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician, NEC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer skills. Expect overtime and weekend shifts during peak production seasons, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician credential and experience.
Ability to interpret NEC.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicle.
Proficient with Microsoft apps and learning new systems.
Willingness to work in varied conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently or in a team and communicate effectively.
Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.
Strong focus on health and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting and inspections.
Support electrical safety program with leaders and teams.
Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures including OSHA/PSM.
Recommend improvements to electrical programs and equipment.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
