Job summary

Sanford Health in Nebraska is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for St. Luke's Village, a 60-bed long-term/post-acute care facility. The CMA provides resident-centered nursing care, assists with daily living activities, and administers medications under a licensed nurse's supervision.

Responsibilities include documentation, monitoring resident condition, and communicating changes to the charge nurse. CNA/CMA certification per state is required, with evening shift availability and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
• State requirements: continuing education credits and department competency testing are required.
• CNA certification per state boards (Iowa/Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota) and CMA/TMA where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Documents outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, and dietary.
• Communicates changing condition and care needs to the charge nurse.
• Assists residents with transfers, range of motion, and daily living activities.
• Supports meals and dining experiences and participates in wellness/ recreation programs.
