Job summary

Tennessee Sign Company seeks an experienced Sign Maker to join our production team. You will help produce a wide variety of commercial signs and graphics using wide-format printing, vinyl plotting, CNC routing, and fabrication equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, CNC routers, VCarve software, and a commitment to quality. We offer a competitive hourly rate, benefits, and opportunities to grow skills on our shop floor.

Qualifications

Experience producing professional signs and graphics.
Hands-on experience with wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, CNC routers.

Responsibilities

Operate wide-format printing equipment.
Operate vinyl plotters and cutters.
Weed, mask, trim, and prepare vinyl graphics.
Operate wide-format laminating equipment.
Laminate and finish digitally printed graphics.
Apply vinyl and printed graphics to ACM, PVC, acrylic, aluminum, and other sign substrates.
Operate CNC router equipment.
Prepare CNC files using VCarve software.
Cut sign panels, dimensional letters, shapes and other components using CNC equipment.
Read and follow production drawings, measurements, work orders and specifications.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
Work with Design, Production, Project Management, and Installation teams to keep projects moving on schedule.
