Rockville Sign Company is seeking a skilled Sign Maker to join a fast-paced production team in Gaithersburg, MD. The candidate will design and produce signs, manage multiple projects, and interface with customers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include 2+ years of sign making experience, vinyl and large-format printing know-how, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Strong color management and 3M/Avery certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional sign making experience (design and production).
• Background in vinyl creation and application.
• Large format digital printing.
• Experience with color management.
• Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.).
• Expertise with Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

Responsibilities

• Sign design and production.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week).
• Answer phones.
• Consult/interface with customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area.
• Assist in maintaining company signage equipment.
• Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs.
• Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional.
