Job summary

Lemberg Electric is hiring a Sign Service Technician in Brookfield, WI. This full-time union role involves servicing electrical signs and exterior lighting at customer sites and construction locations, with hands-on duties and on-site communication with customers.

Responsibilities include repair, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting work while maintaining tools and a company vehicle. Strong customer service and OSHA certifications are valued; CDL readiness is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using hand tools and working outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to manage a schedule and prioritize service calls.
• Willingness to obtain CDL and OSHA-30 certification.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, inspect and retrofit electrical signs and exterior lighting.
• Troubleshoot wiring, power supplies and related components.
• Operate hand and power tools, lifts, and ladders safely.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate status and issues to customers on-site.
• Maintain and inspect the service vehicle and equipment.
