Job description

Salary Range: $25-$60 (depending on location, education, and certifications)

Location: Charlotte, NC (In Center)

Details:

  1. The full-time 32-hour-a-week position requires working Monday-Saturday, 7am-7pm MST.
  2. All 32 hours must be worked in VRS; any additional hours can be in other job codes.
  3. Selected candidates must remain in their full-time position for one year (no PT transfer until then).

Shifts: Available hours are Monday-Saturday, 7am-7pm MT. (Initially, you will be asked to work at least one shift on Monday, Friday, or Saturday)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to pass skills assessment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Interpreter certification
  • 3 years' interpreting experience (preferred)
  • Technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated, customer-focused environment
  • Dexterity to operate computer equipment
  • Regular, predictable attendance

Sorenson Communications is expanding our Video Relay Service. We seek interpreters for Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign services. Positions are available in the US and Canada, full and part-time.
