Job summary

ZP Connect seeks part-time/flex interpreters to provide high quality American Sign Language interpretation on-site at various customer locations. Must have fluent ASL and English, follow NAD-RID Code of Conduct, and be able to travel as needed.

Role supports a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling, health benefits, and employer-matched 401(k). Two hours of work per quarter minimum and interpretation skills assessment are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Ability to provide accurate interpretation.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years of interpreting experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Sign Language Interpreter Community

Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, the Interpreter will provide high quality professional American Sign Language interpreting on-site at various customer locations when needed. Interpreters must possess fluent American Sign Language and spoken English language skills, accurate interpreting skills, and thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Pay Range: $15.74-$65 (based on location, education, certifications, and interpreter specialties)

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work at least two hours per quarter
• Must pass the company's interpreting skills assessment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills
• Able to provide accurate interpretation
• Good understanding of Deaf culture
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of experience in interpreting (preferred but not required)
• As applicable, state licensure or state required credentials
• You must be 18 years or older to apply
