Nebraska Medicine is seeking a qualified sign language interpreter to support deaf and hard‑of‑hearing patients, families, and staff. The role emphasizes accurate communication and compassionate patient care within a busy healthcare environment.

Formación

  • Minimum of one year medical interpretation experience for sign language in a healthcare setting required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and working within a database preferred.

Provide deaf and hard of hearing interpretation for patients, families, and staff of the organization, to support the patient care needs of the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year medical interpretation experience for sign language in a healthcare setting required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and working within a database preferred.
