Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Educational Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) to join our on-site team in Sacramento, CA for the school year. The role supports K-12 students in Elementary through High School settings, providing in-person interpretation during a standard Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold EIPA 4.0+ or RID certification, and possess the ability to deliver accurate ASL interpretation in educational environments.

Qualifications

• Certification/Skill Verification: A passing score of 4.0 or higher on one of the following state-approved evaluations: EIPA or RID.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational ASL interpretation for K-12 settings in person.
• Work Monday–Friday daytime schedule on-site in Sacramento, CA.
• Collaborate with school staff to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage (based directly on experience and EIPA/certification score).
