Job summary

AlphaGraphics Boise is seeking a hands-on Sign Installer to produce and install a variety of signs and graphics for customers. You may also assist with onsite installations in the Twin Falls area and collaborate with sales and design teams to meet customer specs.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to problem-solve. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders for sign installation.
• Measure and mark installation surfaces accurately.
• Install and mount signs using drilling, screwing, and gluing.
• Follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine the specifications and requirements for sign installation.
• Prepare installation sites, including measuring and marking surfaces and ensuring that they are clean and free from debris.
• Install and mount signs using a variety of tools and techniques, such as drilling, screwing, and gluing.
• Repair and maintain existing signs, including replacing broken or damaged parts and ensuring that they are clean and functional.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and design, to ensure that sign installation meets customer and industry standards.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers.
• Record installation data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Drive company vehicles to transport signs and equipment to installation sites.
• Continuously evaluate and improve sign installation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve their skills and knowledge of sign installation techniques and safety protocols.
• Will be crossed trained in multiple areas so that you can move around with customer volume needs if there is a lack of install jobs on the schedule for the day.
