Job summary

AlphaGraphics Boise is seeking an installation-focused sign/graphics technician to join our large format team. You will read work orders, measure surfaces, install signs, and support on-site installations for customer projects in the Twin Falls area. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.

Onsite hours are 8:00am–5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive hourly pay of 20–25 USD and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Sign/graphics installation experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine installation specs.
• Prepare installation sites with measurements and surface prep.
• Install and mount signs using drilling, screws, and adhesive methods.
• Repair and maintain existing signs as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and design to meet customer specs.
• Follow safety procedures and record installation data for KPIs.
• Drive company vehicles to installation sites.
• Cross-train in multiple areas to cover variable workloads.

Job DetailsJob Location: BOISE, ID 83702Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Our large format area is a critical part of our business because of the types of products and services we can provide a customer. This position is an operator type role in the large format department where you will be producing a number of signs and banners for customers. The role will also be used to help with installations onsite at a customer location in the Twin Falls area.

We are looking for an individual that has an eye for detail, is mechanically inclined, is able to solve complex problems, is comfortable working on computers, is able to use a tape measure accurately, and physically able to be on your feet all day, lift products and work on items over you head. Will install a variety of products, from building signs to vehicle and wall graphics.

QualificationsResponsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine the specifications and requirements for sign installation.
• Prepare installation sites, including measuring and marking surfaces and ensuring that they are clean and free from debris.
• Install and mount signs using a variety of tools and techniques, such as drilling, screwing, and gluing.
• Repair and maintain existing signs, including replacing broken or damaged parts and ensuring that they are clean and functional.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and design, to ensure that sign installation meets customer and industry standards.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers.
• Record installation data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Drive company vehicles to transport signs and equipment to installation sites.
• Continuously evaluate and improve sign installation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve their skills and knowledge of sign installation techniques and safety protocols.
• Will be crossed trained in multiple areas so that you can move around with customer volume needs if there is a lack of install jobs on the schedule for the day.

Requirements

• Strongly preferred is previous sign and/or graphics installation experience
• Good communication skills

Work Schedules and Arrangements

• Onsite position
• Hourly - wage is $20-$25 per hour, depending on install experience.
