Idaho Transportation Department is seeking a Sign Fabricator to join the Highways Traffic Supply team in Garden City. The role focuses on design, layout, and fabrication of traffic control and informational signs for state highways.
You will work in an active shop environment, using PC-based CAD/CAM systems and a variety of tools to produce signs, with safety gear required due to chemicals, noise, and moving machinery.

Please note: Position is mainly in an active shop environment. Sign Fabricators in ITD’s highway sign and graphics shopfrequently work aroundchemicals, fumes, noise, carpentry dust, power tools, and moving machinery.As such,proper safety gear—including goggles, respirators, face shields, and ear protection is required at all times.
This position requires a valid driver's license.
