Job summary

Carolina Signs and Wonders is seeking a reliable Sign Fabricator / Shop Hand in North Carolina to join our production team. You will fabricate, assemble, finish, and prepare commercial signs for delivery and installation.

This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys hands-on work, uses tools, and takes pride in quality workmanship. You will read shop drawings and work from dimensions, following instructions to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand/power tools.
• Able to read a tape measure and work from dimensions.
• Reading production drawings and following instructions precisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble commercial signs and sign components.
• Work with aluminum, ACM, acrylic, PVC, polycarbonate, and other materials.
• Build sign cabinets, raceways, frames, brackets, panels, and dimensional signage.
• Cut, drill, route, bend, assemble, and finish materials.
• Assist with illuminated signs, LED modules, wiring, and power supplies.
• Assist with vinyl application and digital-print finishing.
• Perform painting, caulking, touch-up, and final finishing.
• Read shop drawings, dimensions, and production instructions.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Prepare signs for delivery and installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

SIGN FABRICATOR / SHOP HAND

Full-Time | Sign Production & Fabrication

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined Sign Fabricator / Shop Hand to join our production team. This position is responsible for helping fabricate, assemble, finish, and prepare commercial signs for delivery and installation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ability to use required PPE and follow safety procedures
